Forming an Alumni Association

Based on numerous requests, the Hilarian Executive is currently preparing guidelines for forming an Alumni Association. You may use the following tips if you are overseas and wish to form an Association. Alumni groups are currently operational in Washington, D.C, Toronto and Vancouver, Canada. Tips for forming an Alumni of the Hilarians Association

Elect a Committee which should comprise the following-:

  • Chair
  • Secretary
  • Asst Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Programme Officer

Depending on the size of the membership, subcommittees may be formed for varying activities

  • Establish a contact address and number and email
  • Establish frequency of Alumni meetings
  • Establish a database of members using fields similar to the Hilarian database
  • Liaise with the Executive to facilitate flow and dissemination of information
  • Outline a programme of activities including fundraising for the year
  • Adopt a school project or activity

 

Book Donations

We are seeking  donations of books and  resources to help build a core collection of current reference texts, young adult fiction and self-help/self-esteem books. Contact us at mail@hilarians.com

Uncollected Certificates
Here is a list of certificates (G.C.E., CXC, School Certificates and Pitman Certificates) that have not been collected. If your name is on this list please call at the school to collect yours.
